A KdoW is a carwhich is carried around the clock by the train drivers on duty or the city fire inspectors. It is used by management staff  to attend external appointments, for example appointments for preventive fire protection   or management meetings at district level. In the event of an emergency, the manager on duty   can drive straight to the scene without first having to drive to the fire station to change. This saves time and the manager can carry out an adequate situation reconnaissance before other forces arrive. In addition, the vehicle is to be used by the local and supra-local operations management team as part of the joint fire-fighting platoon with the Sulzbach fire brigade. The load includes radio equipment, guide materials, a fire extinguisher, hand tools, personal protective equipment, traffic cones and hand lamps.
